Error Messages of the IC Recorder

Error message
"BACK DATE"
"CANNOT" and
"MOVE" flashes

Cause/Remedy
•You set the alarm when the time is already past.
Check it and set the appropriate date and time.
•You cannot use part of editorial features of this
unit (adding a recording, overwriting a
recording, adding/removing an index, setting a
bookmark) for an MSV (ADPCM) file message
recorded with the IC recorder ICD-MS1.
•For some reason, you cannot move a message.
•The IC recorder failed in memory access.
Remove and then insert the batteries. If this
message appears again, you need to format the
memory (page 50). Back up the data in the
computer after checking the contents.
•The file is not supported by the "Digital Voice
Editor" software, or the file itself is corrupted.
•The memory in the IC recorder is formatted with
other device or the IC recorder failed in
formatting the memory. Use the FORMAT in the
menu to format the memory (page 50).
•The remaining memory of the IC recorder is too
small. Erase some messages before recording
(page 34).
•When there are already 99 messages in the
selected folder or the remaining memory of the
IC recorder is short, you cannot add an index.
Erase some messages before adding an index
(page 34).
•Batteries are weak. Replace batteries with new
ones.
