Troubleshooting

Fault found
The dust collector fails to start
Dust is leaking out
The dust collector does not work as it should
Motor very noisy.

No power
Thermal magnetic switch
tripped
Perforated collecting pipe
Perforated filter
Filter unsuitable for type of job
Pipe perforated or blocked
Container full
Filter blocked
Seals worn
Air leak
Contact NFE customer service

Maintenance
Recommended remedy
Check the power mains supply
Check the integrity of the plug
and power cable
Reset the thermal magnetic
switch
Replace the pipe
Replace the filter
Fit a suitable filter for the type
of material to be collected
Check the pipe and, if
necessary, replace it
Empty container
Clean the filter and if necessary
change it
Check the seals and, if
necessary, replace them
Check for any air leaks out of
closing fasteners, tightening
screws, container or filter
