Bedienung des Transformators
Der beiliegende Transformator gibt 18 Volt Wechselstrom ab.
Der maximale Strom beträgt 5 Ampere. Damit ist der Trafo
optimal auf die Leistung der MZS-Zentrale abgestimmt.
Kontrollleuchten
Der Trafo verfügt über zwei LED-Anzeigen am Gehäuse-
Oberteil. Die grüne LED (Abb. 24a) leuchtet, wenn der Trafo
am Hausnetz angeschlossen ist. Bei Überlastung leuchtet die
rote LED (Abb. 24b).
Überlast-Sicherung
Der Trafo ist gegen Kurzschluß und Überlastung abgesichert.
Bei Überlastung oder Kurzschluß sofort das Netzkabel des
Trafos aus der Steckdose ziehen.
Bei:
1. Kurzschluß: Kurzschluß suchen und Ursache beheben.
RESET-Taste (Abb. 24c) drücken. Stecker wieder in die
Steckdose stecken.
2. Überhitzen: Einige Minuten warten, bis sich der Trafo wieder
abgekühlt hat. Stecker wieder in die Steckdose stecken.
Dann mit weniger Lokomotiven weiterfahren.

The transformer has an output of 18 volts AC. The maximum
current output is 5 amps. This matches the maximum output
of the MTS Central Station.
Indicators
There are two LED indicators on the front panel. The power
indicator (Fig. 24a) glows green when the transformer is
connected to house current. The overheating indicator
(Fig. 24b) glows red when the transformer is overloaded.
Overload Protection
This transformer is protected against short circuits and over-
loading. If there is a short circuit or overload, unplug the
power pack cord from the house current outlet immediately:
1. Short circuit: Find and remove the short circuit. Reset the
circuit breaker (Fig. 24c). Reconnect the power pack cord.
2. Overheating: Wait several minutes for the power pack to
cool. Reconnect the power pack cord. Operate fewer loco-
motives with the power pack.
Fonctionnement · Transformateur
Le transformateur a une tension de sortie de 18 volts, courant
alternatif. L'intensité maximale du courant de sortie est de 5A,
ce qui correspond à la sortie maximale du poste central SMT.
Voyants
Il existe deux voyants à DEL sur le panneau avant.
Le voyant d'alimentation (figure 24a) vert s'allume lorsque le
transformateur est branché dans une prise de courant dans la
maison. Le voyant de surchauffe (figure 24b) rouge s'allume
lorsque le transformateur est surchargé.
Protection contre les surcharges
Ce transformateur est protégé contre les courts-circuits et les
surcharges. En cas de court-circuit ou de surcharge, débran-
cher immédiatement le cordon d'alimentation du transforma-
teur de la prise de courant.
1. court-circuit : corriger l'anomalie qui a engendré le court-
circuit. Réenclencher le disjoncteur (figure 24c). Rebrancher
le cordon d'alimentation du transformateur.
2. Surchauffe : Laisser refroidir le poste central pendant plusieurs
minutes. Rebrancher le cordon d'alimentation du transforma-
teur. Reprendre l'activité en utilisant moins de locomotives.
