USING THE UNIDIRECTIONAL TURNING BEZEL*

The unidirectional turning bezel on your TAG Heuer, with its precision ratchet, is for the measurement of
dive time. The shape of the bezel is designed for easy hand rotation, even with diving gloves. For safety,
the bezel can only turn counterclockwise. If it is accidentally moved it will indicate a longer elapsed dive
time. At the start of a dive, turn the bezel so that the zero mark is in front of the minute-hand (fig. 3 ).
The minute-hand will always show the number of minutes that have elapsed since the dive started
(fig. 4 : 30 minutes have elapsed since the start of the dive).

USING THE FIXED BEZEL WITH TACHYMETER SCALE*

The tachymeter enables you to measure your average speed over a distance of 1 km or 1 mile (for
speeds in excess of 60 km/h or 60 mph).
Measure the time needed to cover 1 km or 1 mile. To start the timing, press push button
