Care and Maintenance ANNUAL MAINTENANCE The rail gear should be cleaned once a year or more frequent if exposed to contaminants such as pet hair, excessive dust, etc. Wipe or vacuum debris from the gear teeth. Apply a small amount of lubricant onto a clean cloth and wipe across the gear teeth. -

Troubleshooting TROUBLESHOOTING If your lift does not operate, diagnose the problem by listening to the beeps emitted: • A long beep when the control switch is pressed indicates the lift is touching an obstruction. • One beep per second for 30 seconds (after a 30 second delay) indicates the lift has been stopped off the charge station. -

Need help correctly wiring after battery change. Works but will not charge
To correctly wire the Harmar Mobility SL400 after a battery change to ensure it charges:
1. Connect the power supply's 2-pin connector to the cable from the charge strips.
2. Plug the power supply into a dedicated 120VAC 15A outlet.
3. Route the wire with the connector out of the end cap on the wall side if charging from the top.
4. If not charging from the top, tuck the excess wire inside the rail.
5. Ensure the lift is parked at a charge station located at either end of the rail for charging.
These steps ensure the lift charges properly after a battery change.
