ETTING PERATION
Checking the smoke alarm detection
To check the function: please press the "Test-button" on your
smoke detector and check if TCL 400 is within the range of your
existing smoke detector. If the TCL 400 detects the alarm from
the smoke detector the alarm is given by:
• Flashing "AL" display
• Alarm sound (depends on the alram volume setting)
• HI brightness of flashing LED
• Shaker vibration (a shaker is not provided).
To stop and reset the alarm
When alarm is sounding, the corresponding alarm indicator
flashes. Press AL SET/SELECT once to stop the alarm and
reset it to come on the following day. After that, the
corresponding alarm indicator stays on the display.
To use snooze
When alarm is sounding, press once, the alarm will be
stopped temporarily and the corresponding alarm indicator
keeps flashing. Alarm will come on again after the set snooze
duration is over.
To use the HI-MED-LOW dimmer
There is a 3-level brightness control for the LED display. Press
to adjust the brightness (HI / MED / LO) of the LED
display. This can only be done when the unit is not sounding.
