The connection between sealer and PC
The sealer type DEP / DBC is delivered as a standard with a cable and if necessary an adapter. The
connection between PC and sealer is made as follows:
- Disconnect both PC and sealer
- Plug in the cable at the rearside in the 9-poles connector of the sealer
- Plug in the other end of the cable in the free serial com-port (if necessary through the adapter
if it concerns a 25-poles free com-port)
- Turn on the PC
- Turn on the sealer
- Start the programme on the PC
How the programme works
When you start the programme a menu appears with the following choices:
- Edit text
- Find text
- Find Code
- Find Text
- Total Survey
- Survey on printer
- Communication with sealer
- Sending text to sealer
- Receiving text from sealer
- Emptying files
- Communication port
- End of the programme
Edit text
Possibility of changing a text or to add it to the list
Find Code
This option offers the possibility of checking which text is programmed under a certain code. The text
can not be edited.
Find Text
This option offers the possibility of searching under which code a specific text is pre-programmed. It
is not possible to change it.
Total survey
This option offers the possibility of glancing through the pre-programmed text. It is not possible to
change it.
Survey on printer
This option offers the possibility of printing a survey of all code through the connected printer.
