In general
Together with the DEP and DBC sealer a diskette is delivered for programming text, that can be stored
in the sealer. The text can be made and changed in advance. The text is stored at the diskette
or on the hard disk of the PC. Lateron the text can be sent to the sealer.
Necessary equipment
For programming text via a PC following configuration is minimal needed:
- A PC (80286 + ) with minimal 1 free serial (COM) port and a 3,5 inch diskdrive
- Possibly a hard disk, on which the programme can be installed.
- Possibly a printer connected to a PC.
Installation on a DOS –Computer
A DOS – Computer is a computer that indicates a DOS prompt immediately after starting.
- Put the delivered diskette in drive A
- Switch the PC over to drive A via the command A:
- Give the following command A:\>README
- When you want to start the programme directly from drive A:, follow the instructions on the
screen.
- When you want to install the programme on the hard disk you give the command
A:\>INSTALL
- Before starting the programme please follow the instructions on the screen.
Installation on a Windows-Computer
A Windows-Computer is a computer that begins in Windows after starting.
- Close all running programmes
- Select through the menu Start, Close the option 'Restart again in DOS mode'
- Follow the instructions as described above in 'Installation on a Dos-Computer'
