This manual contains instructions for safety, operation and maintenance. It is essential to read and follow all the instructions and warnings in the manual, prior to assembly, setup or use, in order to operate correctly and avoid damage or serious injury.
  • Page 4 Manual VEGAS 1) THE WINGS Prepare the slot for the rudder horn. Sand the rudderhorn slightly and glue it with 5 min Epoxy. (ARF VERSION ONLY) Assembly the 2 x 50 cm servo extension cable for the aileron servos or by them from Staufenbiel.
  • Page 5 VEGAS Manual (ARF VERSION ONLY) If you are an experienced modeller it is your decision to install an MPX connection in the wings and the fuselage. Second and as an easier option is to route the 15cm aileron extension cable in the wing.
  • Page 6 Manual VEGAS Glue the servocover with doubleside tape. ..or with Tesa tape from the topside. (ARF-VERSION ONLY) If you are an experienced modeller its on your deci- sion to install an Multipex Multilock System in the fuselage and wing. Please follow the Multilock manual.

  • Page 8 Manual VEGAS Enlarge the hole in the rudderhorn to 1,6mm..so the clevis fiths tight. Please check this. Install the rod in the middle of the clevis. Lay the rod on the fuse- lage and cut it as shown a bit behind where there rod will protrude the fuselage.
  • Page 9 VEGAS Manual Install the Linkage conncector on the Servo- horn of the rudder. Install the rudder servo in the fuselage and set it with the radio or servo tester to neutral. Connect the rod to the servo connection. The rudder should set to neutral and the ser- vohorn perpendicular.
  • Page 10 Manual VEGAS Enlarge the elevator rud- derhorn to 1.8mm and glue it as shown with 5 min Epoxy. (ARF-VERSION ONLY) Set the evelvator servo to neutral. Shrink the servo in heatshrunk tube as done before with the aileronservos and cut the openings.
