LEVEL 1 DIAGNOSTICS
Upon completion of the test,
message is added to the display. Refer to Chapter 10
of this manual for a description of error messages
and recommended corrective actiions.

Printer Tests

These tests are for a printer attached
to the printer (parallel) port of the
computer. Any parallel printer can be
tested
test. Only a printer which is designed
to respond to PC-specific control codes
for additional functional capability
can be tested using the "PC-Compatible"
printer test.
Each of the two available tests is selected entering
the corresponding number (3 or 4) of the Peripherals
Menu. If the ENTER key is pressed after selecting the
specific test, the test runs once and stops. If the
<F8> key is pressed after selecting a specific test,
that test is run continuously until <F4> is pressed.
