3) Connecting the cords
1. Remove screw locating at the left-hand side of the power switch.
Place the top end of ground cord (asm.)

1. Turn ON the power to the machine.

foot lift, reduce the standard adjustment value and re-
adjust the machine according to step 3.
5. When the magnet of knee-lifter detection seat (asm.)
the detecting section (marked with "+") of knee-lifter detection sensor
, the sensor detects that the presser foot has been raised by the
knee-lifter and the LED of the sensor lights up.
