Danger

Fault
Pump runs but does not
transport
Pump does not run or
suddenly comes to a
standstill during opera-

Troubleshooting
Cause
Air in the pump
Suction pipe blocked
Pre-filter is dirty
Power supply interrupted
Motor protection fuse
switched off the motor be-
cause of overheating
Suction pipe blocked
Pre-filter is dirty
Suction side is leaky
The quantity transported by
the pump depends on the
transport height and the con-
nected periphery

Remedy
see chapter "Preparation" fig. A
and B and and chapter "Opera-
tions" fig. C
Pull out the mains plug and
clean the suction pipe
Remove the pre-filter and clean
it under flowing water; rinse out
residual dirt, if any, in the filter
intake by opening the drain.
Check fuses and electrical con-
nections
Pull out the mains plug, let the
pump cool down, clean the suc-
tion area, prevent dry running
Pull out the mains plug and
clean the suction pipe
Remove the pre-filter and clean
it under flowing water; rinse out
residual dirt, if any, in the filter
intake by opening the drain.
Check the entire suction side for
leaks
Keep max. flow height, see
technical data. If necessary, se-
lect a different hose diameter or
hose length.
