12. Handling

• If the volume inside your car is too high, you will not hear acoustic warning signals. This constitutes a
danger to yourself and to other road users. Therefore, ensure the volume is at a suitable level.
• Inattentiveness on the road might involve serious accidents.
• Therefore, only use the hi-fi system when the traffic situation permits and you will not be unduly dis-
tracted by operating the system.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time. This may damage your hearing.

13. Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the household
waste!
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations.

14. Troubleshooting

With the Renkforce Car Radio, you have purchased a product that is equipped with state-of-the-art tech-
nology and safe to operate.
Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe here how to eliminate possible faults:
Always follow the safety instructions!
No playback, no display, and the lights are out:
• Vehicle fuse defective. Look up the respective fuse in the operation manual of your vehicle. Check the
fuse.
• The device fuse is defective. Remove the device and check the fuse.
• The positive line/ground line is loose. Remove the car radio and check the connections of the cables.
Playback only through one loudspeaker:
• The balance control is wrongly adjusted. Adjust the balance control as described.
• Speaker connection has come loose. Remove the car radio and/or speakers and check the connec-
tions.
