In certain apps, you may be able to use the phone storage for backing up and restoring
app data. If an app is causing some problem and you need to clear its data to try
resolving the problem, back up the app data to the phone storage first.
Messages Back up your text messages to the storage card or phone storage, or save
them as an email attachment.
Contacts § Save contacts and other personal data to your online accounts so you
can just sync them when switching to another phone.
§ If you have locally stored contacts in the People app, export them to
the storage card or phone storage.
Files Connect HTC 10 to your computer as a disk drive to manually copy and
paste files to your computer.
Other data Check other apps to see if they support exporting data to the storage
card or phone storage.
