    ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING LOCK-OFF BUTTON The lock-off button (1) is a safety device designed to reduce the possibility of a user accidentally starting the saw (Fig. 6). This button must be pressed before the trigger switch (2) can be squeezed. NOTE: The lock-off button can be pressed from either the left or right side of the handle.

  • Page 25 MAINTENANCE LITHIUM-ION BATTERY MAINTENANCE Lithium-ion batteries share many characteristics with Nickel-Cadmium batteries. The major characteristic that is NOT shared with Nickel-Cadmium batteries is that Lithium-ion batteries do not have a “memory” and do not require to be completely discharged periodically. It is recommended that you charge your Lithium-ion batteries after each use so they will be fully charged when needed.
