CHAPTER 5: SETTINGS
PRODUCT SETUP
— This setting specifies the time required for a pushbutton to be pressed before it is deemed active. This
PUSHBTN 1 HOLD
timer is reset upon release of the pushbutton. Note that any pushbutton operation requires the pushbutton to be pressed a
minimum of 50 ms. This minimum time is required prior to activating the pushbutton hold timer.
— This setting assigns the FlexLogic operand serving to operate the pushbutton element and to assert
PUSHBTN 1 SET
operand. The duration of the incoming set signal must be at least 100 ms.
PUSHBUTTON 1 ON
— This setting assigns the FlexLogic operand serving to reset pushbutton element and to assert
PUSHBTN 1 RESET
operand. This setting is applicable only if pushbutton is in latched mode. The duration of the incoming reset
PUSHBUTTON 1 OFF
signal must be at least 50 ms.
— This setting enables the user-programmable pushbutton autoreset feature. This setting is applicable
PUSHBTN 1 AUTORST
only if the pushbutton is in the "Latched" mode.
— This setting specifies the time delay for automatic reset of the pushbutton when in the
PUSHBTN 1 AUTORST DELAY
latched mode.
— This setting assigns the FlexLogic operand serving to inhibit pushbutton operation from the operand
PUSHBTN 1 REMOTE
assigned to the
or
settings.
PUSHBTN 1 SET
PUSHBTN 1 RESET
— This setting assigns the FlexLogic operand serving to inhibit pushbutton operation from the front panel
PUSHBTN 1 LOCAL
pushbuttons. This locking functionality is not applicable to pushbutton autoreset.
— This setting applies only to "Self-Reset" mode and specifies the duration of the pushbutton
PUSHBTN 1 DROP-OUT TIME
active status after the pushbutton has been released. When activated remotely, this setting specifies the entire activation
time of the pushbutton status; the length of time the operand remains on has no effect on the pulse duration. This setting
is required to set the duration of the pushbutton operating pulse.
— This setting assigns the FlexLogic operand serving to drive pushbutton LED. If this setting is "Off," then
PUSHBTN 1 LED CTL
LED operation is directly linked to the
operand.
PUSHBUTTON 1 ON
5
— If pushbutton message is set to "High Priority," the message programmed in the
and
PUSHBTN 1 MESSAGE
PUSHBTN 1 ID
settings are displayed undisturbed as long as
operand is asserted. The high priority
PUSHBTN 1 ON TEXT
PUSHBUTTON 1 ON
option is not applicable to the
setting.
PUSHBTN 1 OFF TEXT
This message can be temporary removed if any front panel keypad button is pressed. However, 10 seconds of keypad
inactivity restores the message if the
operand is still active.
PUSHBUTTON 1 ON
If the
is set to "Normal," the message programmed in the
and
settings
PUSHBTN 1 MESSAGE
PUSHBTN 1 ID
PUSHBTN 1 ON TEXT
are displayed as long as
operand is asserted, but not longer than time period specified by
FLASH MESSAGE
PUSHBUTTON 1 ON
setting. After the flash time is expired, the default message or other active target message is displayed. The
TIME
instantaneous reset of the flash message is executed if any relay front panel button is pressed or any new target or
message becomes active.
The
setting is linked to
operand and displays in conjunction with
only if
PUSHBTN 1 OFF TEXT
PUSHBTN 1 ID
PUSHBUTTON 1 OFF
pushbutton element is in the "Latched" mode. The
message displays as "Normal" if the
PUSHBTN 1 OFF TEXT
PUSHBTN 1
setting is "High Priority" or "Normal."
MESSAGE
— If this setting is enabled, each pushbutton state change is logged as an event into the event
PUSHBUTTON 1 EVENTS
recorder.
The figures show the user-programmable pushbutton logic.
