Step 2: Setup and selection of Oil Cooling from
page 2 of the Confi guration screen
The oil cooling VPLUS algorithm must be enabled from
the confi guration screen. The algorithm used for this
is the same one that is used to control the oil cooling
motorized positioning valve. Navigate to page 2 of the
Confi guration screen. In the middle column, towards
the bottom of page 2 are the Oil Cooling selections, see
Figure B-46. Select "Liquid Injection" method and then
select the "Motorized Valve" selection.

the VPLUS motor is being controlled based on the dis-
charge temperature only. (The original VPLUS tempera-
ture controller had thermocouples that sensed both the
discharge temperature and the oil injection temperature
and then averaged those two temperatures together, in
order to control the speed of the VPLUS motor.
