    UX-M5R Preventing static electricity 1. Grounding to prevent damage by static electricity Electrostatic discharge (ESD), which occurs when static electricity stored in the body, fabric, etc. is discharged, can destroy the laser diode in the traverse unit (optical pickup). Take care to prevent this when performing repairs.

    UX-M5R Disassembly method <Main body section> Replacement of the fuses and power amplifier IC Replacing the fuses (See Fig. 1.) Remove the left side panel according to its disassembly method (see Figs. 6 and 7). Fuses are located inside the left side panel.
