ONFIGURING PROOF PRINT
This section explains the procedure using WordPad on Windows XP as an example. The
procedure is the same for other Operating Systems.
NOTE
The way to display the printer properties dialog box differs according to the
application software. Refer to the manual of your respective application
software.
1.
From the File menu, select Print.
2.
Select this printer as the printer to be used and click Preferences or for other
applications may say Properties.
3.
From Job Options tab in the Job Type group, select Proof and Print.
4.
In the Job Identification group, enter a name at Job Name. The job name is
needed at the printer to retrieve the particular job.
5.
In the Job Identification group, enter a 6 digit password at Job Pin. Enter a Six
digit numeric password. Click OK.
6.
Enter the job expiration time. A value of zero specifies that the job will not expire.
7.
Click Print in the Print dialog box to start printing.
The document will be stored in the printer.

T THE PRINTER CONTROL PANEL
This section explains the procedure to print data stored in the printer by Proof and Print

Check the print proof copy that was printed to see that it is correct before
proceeding.

Press the MENU button

Input the 6 digit Password number via the numeric keypad on the right side of the
control panel, then press the ENTER button.

Press the ENTER button.

Press the up button or down button until the desired document is displayed and then
press the ENTER button.
7.
Input the number of copies desired via the numeric keypad on the right side of the
control panel, then press ENTER. Press the BACK button if a wrong # is entered.

IMED JOB
This feature allows you to store a job in the printer and configure it to print at a specified
time. The job will be automatically deleted after it is printed.
