Troubleshooting

Always remove the fuse key and battery before carrying out any inspection, maintenance or cleaning on the mower.
Condition
Machine does not start when switched on
Machine cuts out during operation

Cause
No electrical contact between power tool
and battery
Battery has low charge
(1 LED on battery flashes green)
Battery too hot / too cold
(1 LED on battery glows red)
Malfunction in battery
(4 LEDs on battery flash red)
Fuse key not inserted
Malfunction in fuse key
Power tool too hot
(3 LEDs on battery glow red)
Electromagnetic problem or malfunction
in machine
(3 LEDs on battery flash red)
Motor overloaded by overlong or damp
grass.
Mower housing blocked
Moisture in power tool and/or battery
Battery or power tool's electronics too
hot
Electrical or electromagnetic malfunction Remove the battery and re-insert it
Mowing overlong grass or at too low a
cutting height
Feed speed too high
Cooling air inlets dirty
Remedy
Remove the battery, visually check con -
tacts and re-insert battery
Recharge the battery
Allow battery to cool down / allow battery
to warm up slowly at temperatures of
about 15°C - 20°C (60°F - 70°F)
Take the battery out of the power tool
and re-insert it. Switch on the machine –
if the LEDs continue to flash, the battery
has a malfunction and must be replaced.
Insert the fuse key
Replace fuse key
Allow power tool to cool down
Take the battery out of the power tool
and re-insert it. Switch on the power tool
– if the LEDs still flash, the power tool
has a malfunction and must be checked

Do not start the motor in overlong grass,
adjust cutting height to suit conditions
Clean mower housing
Allow power tool / battery to dry
Take battery out of machine, allow bat -
tery and machine to cool down
Allow power tool to cool down, adjust
cutting height to suit conditions
Allow power tool to cool down, reduce
speed
Allow power tool to cool down, clean
cooling air openings in motor housing
