Memory Module Requirements
Desktop Board D845GVAD2 supports system memory as defined below:

Two 184-pin DIMMs
•
2.5 V, 266 MHz or 200 MHz DDR SDRAM interface
•
Memory configurations up to 2 GB using 512 Mbit technology
•
Serial Presence Detect (SPD)
•
Suspend to RAM (STR)
•
Non-ECC RAM (registered memory is not supported)
•
Unbuffered and non registered single or double-sided DIMMs
The desktop board supports Serial Presence Detect (SPD), suspend to RAM
(STR), and unbuffered, non-ECC RAM (registered memory is not supported).

NOTES
The Desktop Board D845GVAD2 has been designed to support DIMMs
based on 512 Mbit technology up to 2 GB, but this technology has not
been validated on this board.
All memory components and DIMMs used with the desktop board must
comply with the PC SDRAM specifications. These include the PC
SDRAM Specification (memory component specific), the PC Unbuffered
