Active headrest (if equipped)
The active headrest is designed to move
forward and upward during a rear impact.
This helps to prevent the driver's and
front passenger's head from moving
backward and thus helps prevent neck
injuries.

Walk-in seat (3door vehicle only)
To get in or out of the 2nd row seat, pull
up the walk-in lever on the front passen-
ger's seatback. The passenger's seat will
fold and the seat will slide forward. Move
the seat to the farthest forward position.
After getting in or out, slide the passen-
ger's seat rearward and pull the seatback
firmly backward until it clicks into place.
Make sure that the seat is locked in place.
WARNING
Never attempt to adjust the seat
while the vehicle is moving or when
the passenger's seat is occupied as
the seat may suddenly move and
cause the passenger on the seat to
be injured.

Seat warmer (if equipped)
The seat warmers are provided to warm
the front seats during cold weather. With
the ignition switch in the ON position,
push either of the switches to warm the
driver's seat or the front passenger's
seat.
During mild weather or under conditions
where the operation of the seat warmer
is not needed, keep the switches in the
"OFF" position.
✽ ✽ NOTICE
With the seat warmer switch in the ON
position, the heating system in the seat
turns off or on automatically depending
on the seat temperature.
