TROUBLESHOOTING

4-2-11. When COVER ICE ROUTE MOTOR (GEARED MOTOR) does not work properly

Caution
1. When replacing the Cover Ice Motor, pull out the plug to avoid an electric shock.
2. Be careful! When disassemble the Cover Ice Motor, spring can jumped out and may cause personal injury.
3. Motor will rotate continuously when the Motor Switch is not sensed.
☞ Checking method of cover ice route motor
resistance.
(Make sure to work after power off) Measure
the resistance between the Main PBA CN73
pin #5 and the SMPS PBA CN1 pin #3
Dispenser Open/Close conditions
CN41 #9, #10-Switch 1, 2 Operation.

If it keeps operating without
stopping
① CN73 #1 is singularized to connnector.
② Check Cover ice motor control relay RY7E on MAIN PCB
③ Check resistance parallel CN73#1(MAIN PCB) & CN1(SMPS)

① Check wire Open/Short at MAIN PCB-Cover ice motor rotation pick up switch.
② Check Cover ice motor control relay RY7E on MAIN PCB : Short or Open
③ Replace MAIN PCB or Replace dispenser cover motor
