Den Wasserkocher nie in Nähe einer Tischkante benutzen und darauf achten, dass er sich ausser Reichweite von Kindern und Haustieren befindet, damit das Gerät nicht herunterge- zogen werden kann und beschädigt wird, bzw. das austre- tende, kochend-heisse Wasser Verbrühungen verursachen kann.
  • Page 4 Ziehen Sie immer erst den Netzstecker, bevor Sie es aus dem Wasser nehmen. Nehmen Sie es nicht wieder in Betrieb, bevor Sie es bei Solis oder einer von Solis autorisierten Ser- vicestelle auf seine Funktionsfähigkeit und Sicherheit haben überprüfen lassen.

  • Page 10 ▲ VOR DER ERSTEN INBETRIEBNAHME: KRUG SPÜLEN Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme muss der Krug gespült werden. Gehen Sie dabei wie folgt vor: • Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Kruges, indem Sie die Deckelentriegelungs-Taste kurz nach innen drücken. • Füllen Sie den Krug mit kaltem Leitungswasser bis zur MAX-Markierung in der Wasserstandsanzeige.
  • Page 11 ▲ INBETRIEBNAHME 1. Stellen Sie die Gerätebasis auf eine trockene, ebene Arbeitsfläche ausser Reich- weite von Kindern. Auch das Netzkabel so platzieren, dass das Gerät nicht damit heruntergezogen werden kann. 2. Nehmen Sie den Krug, drücken Sie die Deckelentriegelungs-Taste kurz nach innen und der Deckel öffnet sich.

    ■ Ü B E R H I T Z U N G S S C H U T Z • Sollte sich das Gerät überhitzen, z.B. wenn sich im Krug kein Wasser oder zu wenig Wasser befindet oder bereits verdampft ist, schaltet sich das Gerät auto- matisch aus.

  • Page 14 Nach längerem Gebrauch oder bei hartem Wasser können sich Kalkablagerun- gen im Krug bilden und zu reduzierter Betriebsleistung und zu Geschmackbe- einträchtigung des Wassers führen. • Solis empfiehlt, Ihren Krug regelmässig (je nach Wasserhärte, jedoch mindestens einmal monatlich) mit einer Mischung aus SOLIPOL ® forte und Wasser zu ent- kalken.

Ne mettez jamais l’appareil à proximité du rebord d’une table et vérifiez qu’il est hors portée des enfants et animaux domes- tiques, afin qu’ils ne le fassent pas tomber, ce qui pourrait endommager l’appareil ou entraîner des brûlures en raison de l’eau bouillante qui risquerait de s’en échapper.

    ▲ BEFORE FIRST USE: RINSING THE KETTLE Before first use, the jug has to be rinsed. Proceed as follows: • Open the lid of the jug by briefly pushing the lid latch inwards. • Fill the jug with cold tap water to the MAX marking in the level indicator. Caution: The MAX marking in the jug must never be exceeded, otherwise hot water might squirt out! The maximum capacity is 1,7 litres.
