sampled voltage value c data (five times), and calcu-
late the average.
t
Calculate the VG amplitude by subtracting averaged
voltage value a from averaged voltage value c.

Change the BRIGHT, GAMMA1 setting etc. on the
value from t and adjust to the adaptation value.

the 8th step, and adjust to the adaptation value.
Positive/negative appraisal at the 8th step is run at 163H,
and sampling is run between 164H and 173H.
q
Starting with the OSD_VSYNC pulse leading edge,
count the OSD_HSYNC pulse until a positive/nega-
tive appraisal at 163H of the 8th step.
w
Check to see if VCOM_IN pulse at 163H is above or
below 1.6V.
e-1 If VCOM_IN at 163H is below 1.6V, sampling VG volt-
age value d from 165, 167, 169, 171, 173 five times.
e-2 If VCOM_IN at 163H is above 1.6V, sampling VG volt-
age value d from 164, 166, 168, 170, 172 five times.
(The timing of sampling is at 38.0µsec±15µsec from
the leading edge of H)
r
Eliminate the maximum and minimum value from the
sampled voltage value d data (five times), and calcu-
late the average. (Average voltage value d)
t
Calculate SUB-BRIGHT_R adaptation value by add-
ing the average voltage value d and Vsbr.
y
Change SUB-BRIGHT_R setting, and adjust to the
adaptation value.
∗ Change SUB-BRIGHT_R in order to have the VR volt-
www
age equals to the above average voltage d and Vsbr.

VCOM_IN
Sampling the voltage value at the VCOM_IN, and adjust to
the adaptation value.
Positive/negative appraisal at the 2nd step is run at 43H,
and sampling is run between 44H and 53H.
q
Starting with the OSD_VSYNC pulse leading edge,
count the OSD_HSYNC pulse until a positive/nega-
tive appraisal at 43H of the 2nd step.
w
Check to see if VCOM_IN pulse at 43H is above or
below 1.6V.

e-1 If VCOM_IN at 43H is below 1.6V, sampling VCOM_IN
voltage value e from 44, 46, 48, 50, 52 at 5H five times,
and sampling VCOM_IN voltage value d from 45, 47,

e-2 If VCOM_IN at 43H is below 1.6V, sampling VG volt-
age value d from 44, 46, 48, 50, 52 at 5H five times,
and sampling VG voltage value e from 45, 47, 49, 51,

r
Eliminate the maximum and minimum value from the
sampled voltage value d/voltage value e data (five
times), and calculate the average.
t
Calculate the VCOM_IN amplitude by subtracting av-
eraged voltage value d from averaged voltage value
e.
y
Change the value from t to the COM_AMPLITUDE
setting and adjust to the adaptation value.
