Programming for Cable /DVD
Use the CBL/DVD button to assign your cable box or
DVD player. This button could also be assigned to a
CDplayer, another TV, VCR or DVD player.
1. M anually turn on
the Cable Box, DVD
Player, or other device.
2. Press and hold the
SET UP button until
the IN DIC ATOR
LIG HT lights, then
release the SET UP
button.
3. Press and release
the C A B/DVD button
(the IN DIC AT OR LIG HT
will blink then
re m ain lit).
4. Find the three digit
code for your
device in the
code list in the
back of this book
and enter it using
the N u m ber Buttons.
After your code is
entered, the IN DIC ATOR
LIG HT will turn of f.
5. Aim the re m ote at
your device and
press the PO W ER
button. Your device
should turn off.
Note: If your device
does not respond, try all
the codes for your brand. If the codes do not w ork,
or your brand is not listed, try the Code Search
m ethod on page 8.
6. With your device
on, press CH A N N EL UP.
If the device responds,
no further progra m ming
is required.
