Exiting the Menu Mode:
To exit the M enu M ode
and clear the screen push
the DEVICE button on the
re m ote. The IN DIC ATOR
LIG HT should go out
indicating the re m ote
is no w out of M enu M ode
and will revert to it's
norm al m ode of operation.
N O TE: The re m ote will auto m atically exit the M enu
M ode after 10 seconds of inactivity with no buttons
being pushed.
Special N otes:
1. Because of the wide variety of m enu
form ats, so m e experim enting m ay
be required.
2. S O N Y: Pressing the E N TER button w hile in
M enu M ode returns to previous m enu.
3. ZE NITH: Push the M E N U button a second
tim e to m ove fro m the SET-UP M enu to the
VIDE O M enu.
Operating a T V / VC R C o m b o
So m e TV/VCR co m bination units m ay be controlled
by using a co m bination of TV and VCR codes. For
exa m ple, the Sa msung TV/VCR co m bo unit m ay be
controlled by both the Sa msung TV code and the
Sa msung VCR code.
GE, RCA and
M any of these devices (TVs and VCRs) do not need
to be progra m m ed. In the event that progra m ming
is required, the code search m ethod is suggested.
N ote: With these brands, the device button (TV,
VCR) will usually turn the units on. The O FF/O N
button will only turn these devices off.
Low Batter y Warning:
W hen your batteries are w eak, the Indicator Light
will blink indicating it is tim e to change batteries.
