(Terminal for connecting special cables for
parallel running)
This is the terminal for connecting special cables for
1
parallel running of two EF2000iS. The parallel running
requires two EF2000iS and the special cables. (The
rated output in parallel running is 3.0 kVA and the
7PB-872
rated current is 25.0 A.)
The handling, operation procedure and the notes on
usage are described in the Parallel Power Cable Kit
owner's manual included in the Parallel Power Cable

Kit. Consult a Yamaha dealer for this Parallel Power
Cable Kit.

TIP
9 The optional Parallel Power Cable Kit is required
for this operation. For further information on oper-
ation, see the Parallel Power Cable Kit owner's
manual included in the Parallel Power Cable Kit.
9 If an electric motor or other device that requires
high starting currents is connected, the overload
indicator light (Red) and the AC pilot light (Green)
may simultaneously come on temporarily (for
approximately 5 seconds). This is not a malfunc-
tion. When the electric devices have started, the
overload indicator light will turn off and the AC
pilot light will stay on.
9 When you stop either of the 2 generators after
you have started the electric devices, disconnect
the Parallel Power Cable Kit simultaneously.
