Muffler screen and spark
arrester
WARNING
The engine and muffler will be
very hot after the engine has

been run.
Avoid touching the engine and
muffler while they are still hot
with any part of your body or
clothing during inspection or
repair.
1. Remove
screws, and then pull outward
on the areas of rear cover

shown.

2. Loosen the muffler cap bolt
and then remove the muffler

cap and the muffler screen.

3. Use a flathead screw driver to
pry the spark arrester out from
the muffler.

4. Remove the spark arrester.

Grille du silencieux et pare-
étincelles
Le moteur et le silencieux sont
brûlants après que le moteur a
tourné. Ne touchez pas le moteur
ni le silencieux avec une partie de
votre corps ou de vos vêtements
s'ils sont encore brûlants lors des
travaux d'inspection ou de répa-
ration.
1. Retirez les vis, puis tirez sur
les surfaces du couvercle arriè-
re vers l'extérieur, comme
illustré.

2. Desserrez la vis et retirez
ensuite le bouchon du silen-
cieux et la grille du silencieux.

3. Utilisez un tournevis à tête
plate pour détacher le pare-
étincelles du silencieux.
4. Retirez le pare-étincelles.
