8. Troubleshooting
More on ADF Jams
Technically you will be able to do the practical assignment shown on the
slide as there will not be any paper jammed in the machine.
For this reason you should go to the area of the machine in question and
simulate a jam condition.
The most important thing to remember is the procedure to clear the paper
jam as well as the area of the machine where the jam occurs.

'DOCUMENT JAM' shows on the operation panel
if a document jams when it gets fed through the
ADF.
Practice clearing the following ADF jam
conditions:
ADF Input mis-feed
ADF Exit mis-feed
