Single Shot – Press the button once
In order to get one portion of grounds, just shortly depress the
grinding button once with the portafilter.
In our experience it will take about 3.8 to 4.2 seconds to grind for
one espresso.
This does depend on the grinding level and the coffee beans though.
Double Shot – Press the button twice
In order to get 2 portions, quickly depress the grinding button twice
with the portafilter.
In our experience it will take about 5.2 to 6.2 seconds to grind for
two espressos.
This does depend on the grinding level and the coffee beans though.
Manual Grinding – Keep the button pressed
In order to grind a certain amount of coffee, you can do this
manually as well. Depress the button until the desired amount of
coffee has been ground.
"Man" appears on the display.
Stopping the grinding process by pressing the grinding button again
If required, also the automatic grinding of a single or double shot can be stopped prematurely:
To stop the grinding process of a single shot, quickly press the grinding button TWICE.
To stop the grinding process of a double shot, press the grinding button ONCE.

5.4 Display of the quantity counter

The quantity counter will indicate the entire amount of ground portions to you. Please note that a double shot will
count as two single shots.
Press + for a sustained amount of
time. You will reach the quantity
counter display automatically.
First the thousands appear

then the hundreds appear
(picture 3).
