Power off your computer
Do not shut down using the standby or hibernation function.
NOTE
Before connecting a printer, change the multimedia pocket device in
accordance with the media in which the driver of the printer exists.
Once a screen to install a driver is displayed, the multimedia pocket
device cannot be recognized even if it is properly installed.

Connect the printer to your computer

Turn on the printer, then turn on your computer

Setting your printer
Go to [Start] - [Settings] - [Printers]. Find your printer's icon, click on it,
then select [File] - [Set as Default]*. If no icon is available, select [Add
Printer] and follow the on-screen instructions.
* Windows 2000 :[Set as Default Printer]
NOTE
You may need to install a driver for your printer. Follow the on-screen
instructions and refer to the operation manual of the printer on how to
install the driver.
Confirm whether or not the setting for the [Parallel Port] in the Setup
Utility is optimal. (
