Inspect th e cells for broken ionizer w ires and
bent collector p lates. R e p a ir as n ec e s s a ry or
ta k e to a H o neyw ell A u th orized Air C le a n e r
R e p a ir Station.
S lid e the prefilters into th e u pstream prefilter
g uides.
S lid e the air c le a n e r cells in so the air flow
arro w points d o w n s tre a m and th e handles fac e
outw ard.
Firm ly close th e a c cess door.
Turn on the air c le an e r. If th e cells and prefilters
are w et, the neon light m ay not c o m e on and
you m ay h ea r arcing. If the arcing is annoying,
sim ply turn the air c le a n e r off for 2 -3 hours or
until the cells are dry.
If yo u r air c le a n e r has an Air C le a n e r M onitor,
the F A U L T indicator m ay activate if you install
w et cells and prefilters. A gain, if the neon light
or the F A U L T indicator annoys you, sim ply turn
off the air c le a n e r for 2 -3 hours or until the cells
and prefilters are dry.
