4. Messages

If you have subscribed to a messaging service through your wireless provider, you
can send and receive messages to compatible devices that also subscribe to a
compatible message service.
■ Write messages
1. In the standby mode, select
the message.
The number of available characters are shown on the top right of the display.
2. Select
Options
to access other functions.
3. Select
Options
> Send, to enter the recipient's phone number, and
it in contacts. Select OK.
You can also select
Options >Sending options
Send to
e-mail, or
Add callback no.
Note: When sending messages, your device may display
This is an indication that the message has been sent by your device to the
message centre number programmed into your device. This is not an
indication that the message has been received at the intended
destination. For more details about messaging services, check with your
service provider.
Read messages (Inbox)
When you receive text messages in the standby mode, the number of new
messages and the new message icon (
