3. Disconnect the charger from the device and the ac outlet.
■ Switch on or off
Warning: Do not switch the device on when wireless phone use is
prohibited, or when it may cause interference or danger.
The on-off function for this device is combined with the end key. To switch the
device on or off, press and hold the end key. When you switch off the device, the
profiles list is displayed before the device switches off.
When you switch the device on, it may request a lock code. Enter the code and
select OK. The preset lock code is 1234. For information about device codes, see
Security settings, 33.
■ Make a call
Use the keypad
• Open the device, and enter the phone number, including the area code.
To delete a character to the left of the cursor, select Clear.
• Press the call key. Press the volume keys to adjust the volume during the call.
• Press the end key, or close the fold to end the call or to cancel the call
attempt.
Use the contacts list
To enter a number into the contacts list, in the standby mode, select
Contacts, and enter the name and phone number. See Contact list options, 27.
In the standby mode, scroll down to find the name or number you want. Press the
call key to call the number.
Redialing a number
To redial one of the last 20 phone numbers that you have called, press the call
key, scroll to the desired name or number, and press the call key again.
1-touch dialing
1-touch dialing must be switched on before you can use it. To switch it on, select
