4. Power and battery use

Charging the Compact

To charge the Compact , connect the adapter supplied in the box to the DC IN 5V jack,
located at the right side of the unit. Plug the other side of the adapter into a power outlet. The

orange LED indicator next to the adapter socket will glow continuously while the Compact
is charging. When the unit is fully charged the LED light will switch off. If the LED indicator
starts to flash, it means there is a charge problem. Disconnect the adapter and try it again.

Charging the Compact takes approximately three and a half hours. A fully charged

Compact can operate for approximately three and a half hours continuously. Please note
mini
that, for safety reasons, only the adapter that came with the Compact can be used to
charge the unit's battery compartment.

System Auto Off

This feature will turn the Compact off automatically if it is not used for a period of 4
minutes. Pressing the orange button at the right side will switch the unit on again.
