Laser Safety Precautions

Please, read this chapter carefully before the first operation of the
device.
The SEED count JR device is using two class 3R visible laser
sources for the small objects counting process. But, because of the
protective housing design, the product itself is a class 1 laser
product.
Class 1 laser product is safe during the normal use.
Class 3R laser source could produce low risk of ocular injury under
intra-beam viewing.
Therefore, during normal operation, the device does not pose any
risk to the operator. But technicians that may open the protective
housing during service must wear protective eyewear having at
least OD1.5 for 650-670 nm, during service.
The SEED count JR product is designed and built to comply with the
last version of the International Standard for laser products IEC
60825-1: 03-2007. Following are the safety means that are
incorporated in the product to comply with this standard.
