SYSTEM OVERVIEW
CONFIGURATION SWITCHES
The main processor board includes eight configuration
switches which require setting as illustrated in
Figure
1.8,
before the computer is used for the first
time, and after any of the hardware features
concerned has been changed.
These switches can be read by software. This is
explained in the description of the Parallel
Input/Output Interface in Chapter 2.
