OPERATING FAULTS
Electrical equipment
– The wipers do not work.
– Direction indicators flashing too quickly.
– The direction indicators
do not work.

CAUSES
Wiper blades stuck.
Fuse blown (intermittent, stop posi-
tion).
Motor fault.
– blown bulb.
On one side only: – blown bulb.
– power supply wire disconnected or
connector incorrectly positioned.
– faulty earth connection.
On both sides:
– fuse blown.
– faulty flasher unit.
WHAT TO DO
Free the blades before using the
wipers.
Replace it.
Contact a RENAULT Dealer.
Replace the bulb.
Replace the bulb.
Reconnect wire.
Find the earth wire which is attached to
a metallic part, scrape the end of the
earth wire and reposition carefully.
Replace it.
Needs replacing: Contact a RENAULT
Dealer.
