set QNH. In the QNH case, the Brightness option becomes active on the Setup page.
6.9.9 Set Alt & IAS Offset
Modern digital sensors that are used for the IAS and altitude measurements may drift a little bit over time,
especially after exposed to a prolonged period of severe cold. The window shown on Figure 30 allows
appropriate adjustment.
Altitude: Change the offset until the altitude below the offset frame matches the reference altitude
•
(Alt) or static pressure (SP). The reference values are obtained using a reference altimeter set to
1013 hPa.
Airspeed: Change the offset until the differential pressure shows zero.
•
6.9.10 Set MAP & Fuel Flow Offset
This window allows offset of the manifold pressure sensor and fuel flow correction factor.
Manifold: Adjust the offset until the MAP value is the same as the SP (static pressure). Both
•
values are shown below the adjustment rectangle. (With engine stopped, the manifold sensor reads
the static pressure.)
Fuel flow factor: This factor is used to correct the software fuel flow correction model. Setting
•
value more than 1 increases indicated fuel consumption and vice versa. If fuel flow sensor is
installed this factor has no effect.
