Index Search

An index mark will be assigned at the beginning of each
recording you make. You may skip to a specific marked point
by following the steps below.

Press [VCR], then press [SEARCH] to call up the
"INDEX SEARCH" menu.

Using the [Number buttons], enter the number of
recordings you would like to skip within 30 seconds.

Press [E / D] to start the index search.
• If you would like to go in the forward direction, press [ D].
• If you would like to go in the reverse direction, press [E ].
• After the index search, the VCR will play the cassette tape
automatically.

Note(s)
• You can make up to 20 index marks.
• This function is only available when the unit is connected
through the VIDEO OUT jack.

Time Search

This feature allows you to go to a specific point on a cassette
tape by entering the exact amount of time you would like to
skip in order to reach the point.

Press [VCR], then press [SEARCH] repeatedly to call
up the "TIME SEARCH" menu.

Using the [Number buttons], enter your desired time
to skip within 30 seconds.
• The maximum time you can skip is 9:59.

Press [E / D] to start the time search.
• If you would like to go in the forward direction, press [ D].
• If you would like to go in the reverse direction, press [E ].
• After the time search, the unit will play the cassette tape
automatically.
Note(s)
• Index search and time search are not available during
recording.
• Press [ C] to stop the search.
• If the end of the cassette tape is reached during search, this
unit will cancel the search and rewind the cassette tape.
• This function is only available when the unit is connected
through the VIDEO OUT jack.
