Deleting Titles

You can delete a title which you do not need anymore. Please
be advised that the titles once deleted cannot be brought
back to the disc.
For DVD-RW, when the last recorded title in the title list
is deleted, the available disc space to record on will be
increased. For DVD-R, the disc space to record on will not be
changed.

Press [DVD].
In stop mode, press [TITLE].
• Title list original or playlist will appear.
• For VR mode DVD-RW, press [DISC MENU] to switch
between "Original" and "Playlist".

Use [K / L / 0 / 1] to select a desired title, then press
[OK].
(e.g., VR mode DVD-RW original)

• "Are you sure?" will appear. Select "Yes" using [K / L], then
press [OK].
• The title will be deleted.

Press [RETURN] or [ C] to exit.
Writing to Disc
• Data will be written onto the disc momentarily.
• This operation may take a while to complete.

Editing Discs

Deleting Part of a Title

You can delete a specific part of a title. Even when parts of a
title are deleted from the playlist, the original title will remain
as it is.
Note(s)
• When a scene is deleted from an original, the playlist related to
the original will be deleted.
• You cannot select "Scene Delete" if the number of chapter
marks in the original or playlist is more than 999. (Depending
on the content, there is a case where you cannot select "Scene
Delete" even if there are 999 or fewer chapter marks.)
• The recordable disc space will not increase even after deleting
a part of a title on the playlist.
