3: The Screen and Basic Concepts

The screen on the front panel of the PNTS displays data as plots or tables, status information, and
system configuration such as network settings. It defaults to the (f) phase noise data plot when the
test set is powered on.
Figure 3 depicts the default screen after the test set has been collecting data for several hours. It
names and describes the major components. These are described in section
Components" on page 13.
