Power Fail and Temporarily saving patterns and letters

If there is a power failure or you turn off power to machine during selecting/editing/sewing of embroidery your pattern will be saved
for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. After that time the screen will be restored to the initial screen. However, if you need to take a
break from your sewing or plan to be away for an extended timeframe, you can save the exact position of your sewing.
Before turning power off:

* As long as a pattern is selected, pattern
can be temporarily saved from any screen.
After turning power back on:
Upon turning off / then on power to the machine, the following screen will appear and ask you whether you wish to continue the
previous operation.

* IMPORTANT : Do not
turn off power to
machine while machine
is saving patterns and
the Layout Screen.
Clicking

return to the previous
operation.
Click on
( in the case of temporary ) will show follow-
ing screen. If the operation has not been temporarily saved,
the Pattern Selector Screen will be displayed.

* In the case where power to
machine is re-turned on and
a pattern that has been tem-
porarily saved is activated,
pattern will be cleared by
turning off the power to the
machine.
To save pattern for an ex-
tended period of time, it is
recommended to store it in a
"attern case" (Long Term
Memory)
(Refer to pages 95 and 96
for how to store patterns in
pattern case.)
