How to adjust stitch length (manually)

Sewing machine is designed to automatically select an optimum stitch length once a pattern is selected.
Stitch Length, Width and Tension show auto-
matically on the 4 Utility Screens. For all
other screens, stitch length, width and
tension will be shown on a "pop-up" screen
accessed by pressing

For automatic stitch length adjustment,
just touch pictogram of desired pattern.
Example of straight stitch
For manual stitch length adjustment
Press
to decrease stitch length.
Press
to increase stitch length.
The smaller the number the shorter the stitch length.
The larger the number, the longer the stitch length.
A touch on the
pictogram will return the
numeric value to the Automatic Stitch Length
Setting of "2.3."
* Stitch length of Straight Stitch and ZigZag is
Manually Adjustable from "0.0" to "5.0".
* When the stitch length shows ( - - ), the pattern
cannot be manually adjusted using the stitch
length adjustment.
