    Product Overview The Projector consists of the LCD projector controller, Lamp controller, Power supply system, and the system cooling controller. The LCD controller captures the digital PC data and video data and converts them into the LCD display device. The lamp controller controls the lamp’s power and synchronizes its frequency with color display sequence.

    Chapter 2 Circuit Board Hardware Architecture The Projector consists of the Source board, Main board, Keypad board, DB board, EMI board, PFC board, Ballast board, Door interlock switch, sensor board, and the Thermal break sensor board. Please see Figure 1. Source Board consists of audio phone jack, video RCA jack, S-video mini-DIN head, and USB head.

    Replacement of Memory IC (24LC512) Memory IC on the Main PCBA stores the data for the service adjustments such as a color parameters, and should not be replaced except for the case of defective device. * The color parameters are included GAMMA table, uniformity table and VCOM values. Cautions : If replacing the Optical Engine and Main PCBA, Please follow up below procedure.
  • Page 48 A new memory IC which is stored adjusted data, will be provided with a new optical engine when you must change an engine. When you replace an optical engine or Main PCBA, please confirm the memory IC always has to go with its original optical engine one by one. Make sure the direction of the memory IC on Main PCBA, the mark (*) at the left side.

    § Lamp Replacement CAUTION Please let the projector cool down and unplug power cord at least 60 minutes after usage. The lamp and parts around the lamp will be very hot and may cause burn or injury. Ordering a replacement lamp (Part Number 23040021) Follow the steps to replace the lamp.

    § Replace or Maintain Filter Process Auto Filter Alert The function is to remind user for filter cleaning or replacement. Filter counter setting Select from (500H/800H/1000H) depending on the use environment. For clean environment, set the filter timer longer. For dirty environment, set the filter timer shorter. Filter warning When the operation time reached the timer set, a warning message will appears on the screen to remind user that the filter cleaning is required.
