To guarantee a secure placement during the spin,
The support surface should be secure and flat. Soft
floor linings such as e.g. fitted carpets or floors with
cellular plastic on the back are not appropriate.
When the machine is to be placed on flooring above
wooden-beam ceilings:
q Where possible, place the washing machine in a
corner.
q Screw a water-resistant wooden board (min.
thickness 30 mm) to floor.
q Fix the machine's feet using fixing tabs *.
To place the washing machine on a raised base:
q Fix the machine's feet using fixing tabs *.
* Fixing tabs (a set of assembly accessories) may
be obtained from any distributor or from the
Technical Assistance Service, order no.
WMZ2200.
Carry out assembly or make a gap in the furniture be
fore connecting the appliance to the electricity supply.
The appliance can be set up in or built in to the kitch
en. For such purposes, the recess must be 60 cm
wide.
q Placing the washing machine beneath a continu
ous sheet fixed to neighbouring cupboards.
Important
For safety reasons, a technician should be employed
to put in a sheet metal covering when carrying out this
type of work instead of the appliance's normal cover.

of assembly accessories) from any distributor
or from the Technical Assistance Service,
order no. WMZ2420.
