What is Viera Cast?

Viera Cast
Panasonic has introduced Viera Cast into 2009 TV and Blu-ray product ranges.
On the HD recorder products, Viera Cast currently provides access to weather,
Bloomberg stocks, YouTube™ and Picasa™ through your recorder without the
need for a computer. The recorder connects to the Panasonic European server
via a home broadband connection. Viera Cast programmes can then be
accessed by simply pressing the "VIERA CAST" button on your remote control.
