This set features five detailed milk cars and a classic woodside caboose with a lighted interior. Pull this set with your Niagara locomotive (available separately) to model what was once a common sight—milk cars following a speedy passenger locomotive. -

Coupling your Milk Car o operate the couplers by hand, slide the uncoupling tab on the side of the coupler shaft back toward the car. Do not push down on the tab. Removing the roof emove the roof to see the two internal milk tanks. The roof is held in place by two tabs located on the sides, centered above the doors. As illustrated in Figure 2, carefully grasp the roof by its edges and lift it straight up to dislodge the tabs. Be gentle with this car to avoid damaging the separately applied details. -

Operating the door latches ach pair of doors is held closed by a small latch. Swing the latch away from the door, removing the pin from the hole in the door. See Figure 3. Keep both doors completely closed when you are releasing the latch. Figure 3. -

Operating the caboose’s smoke unit urn your caboose’s smoke unit on or off using the switch on the bottom of the car. As illustrated in Figure 4, the smoke unit will be turned off when the switch is moved towards the outside of the car. -

During the course of normal operations, this lamp may require replacement. Replace the lamp with part no. 600-8352-311, available from your authorized Lionel dealer. 1. Remove the chassis screw from the underside of the frame. Refer to Figure 4 for the location of this screw. -
