Using Auto Level

Auto leveling keeps movies straight.
Press the [
[
Auto level] on the [
press the [ ] button (= 35).
Choose [Enable], and press the [ ]
button again (= 35).
When you set [Digital IS] to [Enable] or [Enhanced] (= 86),
[
Auto level] is set to [Disable] and cannot be changed.
Once recording begins, the display area narrows, and subjects
are enlarged (= 86).

Preventing the AF-Assist Beam from Firing

You can deactivate the lamp that normally lights up to help you focus
when you press the shutter button halfway in low-light conditions.

Deactivating the Red-Eye Reduction Lamp

You can deactivate the red-eye reduction lamp that lights up to reduce
red-eye when the flash is used in low-light shots.

Customizing Camera Operation

[AF-assist beam (LED) firing] on the

To restore the original setting, repeat this
process but choose [Enable].
